Hello everyone!  It's been a while since I've posted.  Sorry about that.  I actually have quite a few pictures to go through, many of which would look great in here!  I'll be on vacation this weekend, but next week I should have a whole bunch to upload. Speaking of uploads, I've added a new picture!  It's one of my most recent shots taken with my latest lens: a Rokinon 85mm f/1.4.  I know, I know.  I said I wouldn't get any more lenses, but we took a friend to a concert for her birthday and I wanted a very fast mid-range telephoto prime so I could have a little reach and shoot in very low light.  It was perfect for the job!  Unlike the Nikon

I took a photo of a garden spider that was lounging on our stairway's handrail.  I like the picture, but not as it is at its base.  Then I poked around and found a few nifty things in photoshop and now I can't stop thinking of all the awesome things I can do with a giant creepy spider picture and how much fun it will be learning how to make my creative thoughts a reality.  This is not conducive to getting work done.

After a much-needed break from the interwebs, I return! I have a ton of pictures to upload from the zoo, the mountains, and whatever random thing I find.  Most recently that random thing was a jumping spider on my apartment stairwell as seen in Cuddles!
